“j-hope Announces Two More Singles in 2025: ‘Building Toward My Next Album'”
BTS member j-hope has revealed he will release two additional solo tracks this year following his recent digital single “Sweet Dreams,” giving fans a musical roadmap of what to expect from his post-military career.
During a Weverse Live session on March 11, j-hope shared his exciting plans with fans: “Interestingly, all three songs will have different styles,” he explained, offering insight into his creative process. “While working on the album in the United States, I thought about what music fans would enjoy, and ultimately, the answer was ‘good music.'”
The 31-year-old rapper and dancer elaborated that these singles are helping establish his musical direction, which will significantly influence his next full-length solo album. This strategic approach follows the successful release of his first post-military project “Jack In The Box 2” in 2024.
Since returning from military service in October 2024, j-hope has maintained an impressive schedule of activities. For his “Sweet Dreams” promotion, he conducted an extraordinary 12-hour Weverse Live stream on March 6, followed by the “Sweet Dreamland” fan event on release day.
The BTS member continued promotions in New York City, hosting a “Sweet Dreams Flowers” pop-up at Genesis House on March 9-10, where he personally selected flowers and provided handwritten message cards for fans. He also collaborated with famous bakery Magnolia Bakery to release themed cupcakes and banana pudding inspired by his new single.
j-hope’s promotional activities extend beyond music, with appearances on popular Korean variety shows including MBC’s “I Live Alone” and JTBC’s “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator since 2014.”
His ambitious plans for 2025 include becoming the first Korean solo artist to tour North America with a show at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium.
