Fresh Off the Red Carpet
Shortly after walking the red carpet at the 2025 MTA Video Music Awards, ONE OR EIGHT of Avex Music Creative Inc. and Atlantic Music Group have dropped their latest single, “BET YOUR LIFE” (September 19), now available on all streaming platforms.
An Anthem of Strength and Self-Belief
Serving as the counterpart to their recent single “Young & Reckless”, this release continues the group’s Anthem of Challenge series. While “Young & Reckless” embraced the free-spirited start of a journey, “BET YOUR LIFE” becomes a declaration for challengers everywhere to believe in themselves and risk everything in pursuit of their dreams.
Message from the Group
“BET YOUR LIFE is all about standing on the edge and taking that all-or-nothing leap… We’ve poured our passion straight into every word. If you ever find yourself facing a challenge, we hope this track gives you the energy to push through and keep fighting,” said RYOTA of ONE OR EIGHT.
A Dark, Gritty Sound
The track blends hip-hop, industrial trap, and dark emo influences, with sharp rap verses over gritty guitars and shifting basslines. Producer David Arkwright praised the project, calling it “an anthem that challenges listeners to take risks, live boldly, and chase a life of individuality.”
Visuals and Fan Connection
Alongside the single, a dance practice video has been released. The official music video will follow on September 26. ONE OR EIGHT will also celebrate ONE OR EIGHT Day (10/8) with a special worldwide broadcast, featuring a specially edited version of their FAN MEETING SHŪKAI FINAL in Zepp Haneda and an exclusive live performance.
