I usually give around 300,000 won, and if we’re close, maybe 500,000 won.”
He also shared a personal anecdote about rapper Sleepy’s wedding: “I spent almost 7–8 million won because I got him a fridge and a clothing sterilizer. Honestly, I regret it. Back then, I was naive and excited to give something to a close friend getting married.”

Sleepy revealed on shows like SBS’s “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2” and KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman” that BTS’s RM covered nearly the entire cost of his main bedroom. Sleepy, who married a non-celebrity in 2022, shared that RM reportedly gave 10 million won. He explained, “I recognized him when he was a middle schooler, got his contact, and connected him to my agency (HYBE). I gave him a big gift,” showing how friendship and generosity go hand in hand in K-pop circles.
