A2O MAY has given fans another reason to celebrate! The rising girl group has won a Rookie Award at China’s prestigious 2025–2026 Music Business Industry Awards (MBIA), officially becoming four-time global rookie award winners.
On the 19th, A2O Entertainment shared that A2O MAY (CHENYU, SHIJIE, QUCHANG, MICHE, and KAT) received the “Music Finance X Weibo Nayun – Emerging Musician of the Year” award at the ceremony held on the 17th in Beijing, China.
“This Award Belongs to MAYnia”
The members couldn’t hide their gratitude as they shared their heartfelt thoughts:
“It’s a huge honor to receive this award. We sincerely thank Teacher Lee Soo-man and all of the A2O staff. This is our first award of the year, and it’s an honor we achieved together with our MAYnia.”
They continued,
“Thank you to everyone who has believed in us and supported us. We’ll keep your encouragement in our hearts and continue moving forward without stopping.”
The group also promised fans that this new year marks a fresh beginning, with even more growth and better music on the way.
