Dance Workshop Brings Fans Closer
K-pop group CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho) announced via Weverse on October 1 that they will host a “GO!” dance workshop in Los Angeles on October 12 (local time). Fans will have the rare opportunity to learn choreography directly from the members, deepening their connection with the group.
Known as a “young creator crew”, CORTIS actively co-creates their music, choreography, and videos, an approach that has drawn significant attention from global audiences.
First Official Public Appearance in the U.S.
Ahead of the workshop, CORTIS will attend the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Los Angeles on October 11. This marks the first collaboration between Red Bull and a K-pop artist, allowing the group to experience the dance battle in person.
Following LA, the group will travel to New York to perform at the KOOM Festival on October 18, promoting Korean startup culture and K-culture to a global audience.
Rapid U.S. Success
CORTIS has made remarkable strides internationally just a month and a half after debut. Their debut album, COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, entered the Billboard 200 at #15 (September 27 issue), marking the highest rank among Korean boy groups that debuted in the past four years.
The U.S. also emerged as the largest streaming market for the album on Spotify, while their track “GO!” is featured in promotional videos for the 2025 MLB postseason, showcasing their growing global visibility.
Upcoming Fan Content
Even though their official debut promotions have ended, CORTIS continues to engage fans. During the Chuseok holiday, they will release clips from the CORTIS The 1st EP ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES’ RELEASE PARTY (held September 8) on their official YouTube channel at 9 PM on October 3 and 4. Additional Chuseok special content, including short-form videos and behind-the-scenes photos, will follow.
