Big Hit Music, home to boy groups such as BTS, Tomorrow X Together (TXT), and Cortis, is set to hold a global audition.
HYBE’s label Big Hit Music announced on the 19th via its official website that it will host the ‘2025 Big Hit Music Global Audition.’ Eligible applicants are males born after 2007. Submissions can be made in any format that highlights an individual’s talent and uniqueness, without restrictions on the field.
The audition will take place both online and offline. Online applications are open through the official website starting today and will remain available until December 7th.
Offline auditions will be held across 13 cities worldwide: Los Angeles (LA), United States; Toronto, Canada; Sydney and Melbourne, Australia; Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam; Bangkok, Thailand; Jakarta, Indonesia; Singapore; Osaka and Tokyo, Japan; Taipei, Taiwan; and Seoul, South Korea. These will run from October 18th to December 7th, with same-day on-site registration only. No prior application is required.
In particular, pop-up events that allow participants to experience K-pop culture firsthand will be held in LA and Bangkok. A special program featuring SuperTone’s AI music technology will compare participants’ voices with those of Big Hit Music artists and provide matching results. These events will be open not only to audition applicants but also to the general public.
Big Hit Music stated, “We plan to provide a unique experience combining K-pop and AI technology beyond a simple audition,” and added, “We kindly request the participation and attention of those who dream of debuting.”
