Overcoming Health Challenges
Earlier this year, Shin Goo opened up about his heart failure diagnosis on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block. He shared, “I used to enjoy exercising and drinking, and I felt confident. But last year, I was suddenly diagnosed with acute heart failure. I rushed to the ER, and they told me something was wrong. My heart wasn’t beating normally—it was slow. If left untreated, the lack of oxygen could cause a stroke. So now, I have a pacemaker that regulates my heartbeat. When my heart beats slowly, it sends electrical pulses to maintain a normal rhythm.”
