BTS’ Jin has once again proven his immense popularity and live performance skills — this time in the United Kingdom.
From June 28 to August 10 (KST), Jin is holding his first solo fan concert and world tour, RUN SEOKJIN Tour (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR). On August 5 and 6 (local time, August 6 and 7 KST), he successfully wrapped up two sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena (Millennium Dome). Just like his other tour stops, the venue was packed with enthusiastic fans, and the lines for merchandise stretched endlessly.
Dubbed the “Visual King” and “Live King,” Jin filled more than two hours on stage entirely on his own, delivering flawless live vocals, impeccable stage presence, and expert showmanship — leaving the packed arena with unforgettable memories. UK fans responded with thunderous cheers and organized slogan events during the show, while Jin expressed his gratitude in English, told fans he loved them, and formed hearts with his hands.
The O2 Arena’s official account announced that, due to overwhelming demand, additional tickets for Jin’s concert had been released. According to TouringAsiaPop, Jin became the first Asian solo artist to headline the O2 Arena for two consecutive years, the first Asian solo artist to sell out the venue, the first BTS member to hold a solo tour in London, and the record-holder for the largest single-show audience outside of Asia. TouringAsiaPop added that Jin continues to set new records on his tour, offering European fans the opportunity to experience a truly world-class solo performance.
Pop Core also reported that Jin made history as the first Asian solo artist to perform consecutive shows at the O2 Arena — and the first to sell it out.
The O2 Arena’s official Instagram account posted a video filled with Jin’s passion, captioned, “The night with Jin was truly incredible,” surrounded by heart emojis — capturing the excitement of sharing the moment with a global superstar.
Currently on his RUN SEOKJIN Tour, Jin has been breaking sold-out records in every city he visits. Beginning in South Korea on June 28, the tour has already stopped in Chiba and Osaka (Japan), Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark (USA), and London (UK). He will next perform in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on August 9 and 10 (local time, August 10 and 11 KST), completing a total of 18 shows across nine cities.
The August 10 (KST) Amsterdam concert at Ziggo Dome will also be broadcast via Live Viewing, a screening format where large audiences gather in theaters to watch concerts or sports events together. The event will be simultaneously broadcast in theaters across more than 80 countries and regions worldwide, with delayed screenings in Asia, including South Korea, due to time differences. In Korea, it will be shown at major multiplex chains CGV, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox. Due to high demand, CGV Yeouido opened additional ticket sales on August 5.
