BTS Extends Unmatched Record in Japan
BTS (RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, Jung Kook) has added yet another achievement to their long list of accolades—earning their 47th Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). On the 27th (KST), the RIAJ announced that “The Truth Untold (Feat. Steve Aoki)” surpassed 50 million cumulative streams in October, officially securing its Gold status. This milestone further strengthens BTS’s position as the K-pop act with the most Gold-certified songs in Japan.
A Beloved Vocal Masterpiece Gains New Spotlight
Originally featured on BTS’s third full-length album LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘TEAR’, “The Truth Untold” is performed by the vocal line—Jin, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. The track is praised for its delicate harmonies and emotional restraint, qualities that leave listeners with a lasting impression. The song recently experienced a surge in attention after Jin performed it live on piano during his encore fan concert, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR_ENCORE, drawing an overwhelmingly positive fan response.
BTS Dominates RIAJ Streaming Honors
Under the RIAJ’s streaming certification system—Gold (50M+), Platinum (100M+), and Diamond (500M+)—BTS has consistently led the field. They remain the only K-pop group to hold Diamond certifications in Japan with their global hits “Dynamite” and “Butter.” Notably, “Dynamite” became the fastest track in RIAJ history to reach Diamond status.
All Eyes on BTS’s Spring Comeback and World Tour
As BTS approaches their highly anticipated comeback, excitement continues to build. A new album is set for release next spring, to be followed by a large-scale world tour. Members have recently fueled fan anticipation by sharing behind-the-scenes moments and group updates on Weverse, signaling a powerful return to the global stage.
