Jin Achieves Unprecedented Billboard Top Tours Ranking
BTS member Jin has made history on Billboard’s Top Tours chart with his record-breaking solo European tour. According to Billboard’s August 2025 report, Jin ranked No. 24 on the monthly chart — despite performing only four concerts: two in London (August 5–6) and two in Amsterdam (August 9–10).
With an astonishing $11.5 million USD in revenue and 50,700 attendees, Jin set the highest European tour earnings ever achieved by a Korean solo artist, further cementing his global superstar status.
“RUN SEOKJIN TOUR”: A Global Phenomenon
Running from June 28 to August 10, Jin’s first-ever solo world tour — “RUN SEOKJIN TOUR” (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR) — captivated fans across nine cities, including Chiba, Osaka, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, and Amsterdam.
The tour comprised 18 sold-out performances, each met with enthusiastic crowds and glowing reviews. In July, Jin placed 9th on Billboard’s Top Tours chart with $32.5 million USD in revenue and 217,000 attendees from just 12 shows in Japan and the U.S., excluding Korea and Europe.
Record-Breaking Boxscores in Japan
According to Billboard Top Boxscores, Jin’s Osaka Kyocera Dome concerts (July 12–13) grossed $9.6 million USD, marking the highest single-venue earnings ever by a K-pop solo artist. Every seat — including 8th-floor and restricted-view areas — was opened and sold out, a rarity even in Japan’s concert scene.
Consistent Chart Dominance & Critical Acclaim
Jin continues to reign on Billboard charts, holding the record for the most No.1 songs (7) in World Digital Song Saleshistory for a solo artist. His album “Echo” remains the only 2025 K-pop solo album to stay on the World Albums chart for over 18 consecutive weeks, making him the best-selling K-pop soloist in the U.S. this year based on pure album sales.
International media have also celebrated his success:
-
Rolling Stone UK hailed him as “a truly one-of-a-kind entertainer.”
-
Forbes U.S. highlighted his “stable high notes and wide vocal range,” calling him “far more than just a handsome face.”
-
Paris Match (France) praised his “humor, stage presence, and genre-spanning talent” as “a perfect gift to fans.”
Encore Concert to Cap Off a Historic Year
In response to overwhelming global demand, Jin announced an encore event — “RUN SEOKJIN TOUR ENCORE” (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR_ENCORE) — scheduled for October 31 and November 1 at Incheon Munhak Stadium.
With each milestone, Jin continues to redefine what’s possible for K-pop soloists on the world stage — proving his power, artistry, and enduring connection with fans worldwide.
