On October 5th, 2025, K-pop sensation CORTIS thrilled fans and sports enthusiasts alike when they were officially invited to the Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season match between LAFC and Atlanta United at BMO Stadium, Los Angeles — home of Son Heung Min.

First Korean Artist as LAFC Honorary Falconer

The members of CORTIS captured attention by donning LAFC uniforms featuring Son Heung Min’s name and jersey number. They made history as the first Korean artist to serve as an LAFC Honorary Falconer, a ceremonial role previously held by celebrities such as Will Ferrell and Meghan Trainor.

As Honorary Falconers, CORTIS members released the team’s mascot falcon, officially signaling the start of the match — a moment that drew admiration from both domestic and international broadcasters.

The match ended in a 1-0 victory for LAFC, marking their fifth consecutive win. CORTIS quickly earned the nickname “Victory Fairy” among local sports fans, gaining widespread attention online for their charismatic presence and support.

CORTIS Continues U.S. Sports Collaborations

This isn’t CORTIS’s first U.S. sports highlight. Earlier this year, Major League Baseball (MLB) featured their song “GO!” in a 2025 postseason promotional video, which aired across TV, radio, social media, and stadiums nationwide.

Even after completing their official debut album promotions, CORTIS continues to make waves in the U.S.

  • October 11th: Attend the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Los Angeles to watch the live battle.

  • October 12th: Host a “GO!” Dance Workshop, where the members who created the choreography will teach fans directly — marking the first Red Bull collaboration with a K-pop artist.

CORTIS is proving that their influence extends far beyond music, bridging K-pop, sports, and global fan experiences with unmatched energy and charm.
