A New Chapter for OMEGA X’s Junghoon

Junghoon of the K-pop boy group OMEGA X has officially launched his solo career with the release of his first digital single, Belong. Known for his impressive versatility as a composer, lyricist, and vocalist, Junghoon has already showcased his musical range through his contributions to three tracks—“덕통사고 (Countdown),” “TAKE ME OVER,” and “Pure Love”—on the OST for the Korean BL drama My Bias Is Showing!, which starred fellow member Kevin.

With Belong, Junghoon further highlights his emotional storytelling and production skills, offering listeners a warm, comforting sound that pairs perfectly with the quiet moments of the winter season.

A Personal and Heartfelt Solo Debut

Junghoon shared his excitement—and nerves—about taking on this new artistic challenge:

“I’ve been consistently telling my fans about this for a long time, and now my first solo digital single is finally out in the world! I’m a little nervous about how listeners will react to songs that carry my story and colors, but I’m taking on this new challenge with courage. Please look forward to my journey ahead as well.”

Two-Track Single Full of Emotion

Belong is an alternative R&B single album featuring two tracks that dive into themes of warmth, connection, and growing affection:

  • “Belong” — The title track paints the intimate moment of discovering comfort and a true sense of belonging in someone’s embrace.

  • “Slowly” — A gentle and reflective B-side that captures emotions blooming at an unhurried pace, just as the title implies.

Junghoon took part in both the composition and lyric writing, making this release deeply personal and aligned with his own artistic tone.

Upcoming Release Party in Seoul

To celebrate the launch of Belong, Junghoon will hold a release party in Seoul on December 21st. Fans attending can look forward to live performances of both tracks and an exclusive preview of unreleased music he has prepared for future projects.

Tickets opened on December 4th at 8 PM (KST) and remain available, with more details on the Interpark website.
