Despite No Group Activities, BTS and Its Members Dominate Global & Korean Spotify Wrapped Rankings

BTS has once again proven their unmatched global influence—this time by claiming the No. 1 spot for most-streamed K-pop artist on Spotify in 2025.

On the 4th (KST), Spotify released its annual 2025 Wrapped report, highlighting the world’s most-streamed artists, songs, and albums over the past year. BTS topped the list for Korean artists globally, an especially remarkable feat considering the group had no active group promotions throughout the year.

Global Impact: BTS and Members Sweep Major Rankings

Jungkook secured the No. 8 position on the “Most-Streamed Global K-pop Artists” chart, standing out as the only male soloist in the top 10. His dominance continues to grow—he recently surpassed 10 billion cumulative streams across his solo discography, becoming the first Korean solo artist to reach this milestone.

BTS members also led the global charts for most-streamed K-pop songs:

  • Jimin – “Who” (MUSE): No. 3

  • Jin – “Don’t Say You Love Me” (Echo): No. 4

  • Jungkook – “Seven (feat. Latto)”: No. 8

“Who” and “Don’t Say You Love Me” also crossed over into mainstream popularity, ranking 26th and 42nd on Spotify’s global most-streamed songs of the year list.

Dominance in Korea: BTS & Members Take Over Top Spots

In Korea, BTS’s presence was equally commanding. Jimin, Jin, and Jungkook ranked 1st, 3rd, and 4th respectively in the “Most-Streamed Artists in Korea” category. Jimin notably held the No. 1 position for a third consecutive year. The group also placed 11th, with V at 14th and j-hope at 39th.

Their songs saw overwhelming success on Korea’s Most-Streamed Songs list—the top six spots were all claimed by BTS members:

  1. Jimin – “Who”

  2. Jin – “Don’t Say You Love Me”

  3. Jungkook – “Seven (feat. Latto)”

  4. V & Park Hyo Shin – “Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)”

  5. Jungkook – “Standing Next to You”

  6. Jimin – “Be Mine” (MUSE)

Additional notable rankings include:

  • Jin – “Running Wild”: No. 11

  • Jungkook – “3D (feat. Jack Harlow)”: No. 13

  • Jimin – “Like Crazy” (FACE): No. 14

Every track from Jimin’s album MUSE also charted, underscoring his sustained popularity.
