Seoul Signals the Return of BTS
Global superstars BTS have officially kicked off the countdown to their long-awaited full-group comeback—right in the heart of Seoul. On March 5 (KST), the group unveiled a striking offline promotion at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts near Gwanghwamun Square, turning the iconic venue into a massive tribute to their return.
Sejong Center Wrapped in BTS Imagery
The central staircase of the Sejong Center was covered with visuals featuring BTS’s team name, album logo, and release date for their fifth full-length album, set to drop on March 20. The location drew attention for its symbolic value, as the Sejong Center is widely recognized as one of Korea’s most important cultural and artistic spaces.
BIGHIT MUSIC: “A Return to Our Roots”
BTS’s agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, explained the meaning behind the event:
“BTS began in Korea and grew into a group performing on the global stage. As they return as a full group after a long time, we wanted to host an offline promotion in the heart of Seoul, where their cultural roots lie.”
The agency also revealed plans to expand the campaign internationally, with outdoor advertisements scheduled for major cities including New York, Tokyo, and London.
Mysterious Logo Sparks Fan Buzz
A large sculptural installation of the new album’s logo was placed at the top of the staircase, immediately drawing crowds. The logo was first revealed through handwritten letters BTS recently sent to ARMYs worldwide. With its meaning still undisclosed, fans have been actively sharing theories and interpretations online, fueling anticipation for the comeback.
First Full-Group Album in Nearly Four Years
BTS will release their fifth full-length album on March 20, marking their first full-group comeback in approximately three years and nine months. The album includes 14 tracks and reflects the emotions, growth, and reflections the group has accumulated throughout their journey—offering a focused portrait of “BTS today.”
World Tour to Follow
Following the album’s release, all seven members will embark on a large-scale world tour. Detailed information about the tour will be announced on March 14 via the global fan platform Weverse, heightening excitement among fans worldwide.
